Irene Privacy Policy

Irene (the "App") turns photos of drawings and handwriting on paper into stickers. The App doesn't collect your personal information or send it to any server. This policy explains what information the App handles and how.
1. Information we collect
The App doesn't collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, location or device identifiers. There's no sign-up or login. We don't use ads or third-party analytics tools either.
2. Photos and stickers
- Photos you take or choose are processed only on your device. They're stored, along with the stickers you make, only in the App's storage on your device.
- Stickers you make are copied to shared storage on your device (an App Group) so they can appear in the Messages sticker drawer on the same device.
- If you delete the App, all photos and stickers saved in it are deleted too.
3. When you share
A sticker or video is sent to another app (Photos, KakaoTalk, Instagram and so on) only when you choose to share it, save it to Photos or post it to Instagram yourself. From then on, that service's privacy policy applies.
4. Permissions
- Camera: used to take photos of drawings.
- Add to Photos: used to save your stickers to the Photos app.
5. Payments
Irene Pro purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. The App never receives or stores payment details such as card numbers. It only checks with Apple whether you've made a purchase.
6. Children's privacy
The App doesn't collect personal information from anyone, so it doesn't collect personal information from children under 14 either. When photographing a child's drawing, parents and guardians should make sure the photo doesn't include the child's face, name or other personal details.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll post the update on this page with its effective date.
